Effluent Treatment Plant

ETP is a treatment process of industrial waste water. After treatment, the treated industrial wastewater (or effluent) may be reused or released to a sanitary sewer or to a surface water in the environment. s a process used to remove contaminants from wastewater and convert it into an effluent that can be returned to the water cycle. Once returned to the water cycle, the effluent creates an acceptable impact on the environment or is reused for various purposes.

Types of Waste Water Treatment Plant

Wastewater treatment plants may be distinguished by the type of wastewater to be treated. There are numerous processes that can be used to treat wastewater depending on the type and extent of contamination. The treatment steps include physical, chemical and biological treatment processes. Fundamentally, biological treatment uses living bacteria to do the bulk of the purification while chemical treatment uses chemical reactants to accomplish the work

Waste Water Treatment Plant Need for the following sectors

  1. Textile (Knitting, Dyeing, Washing)
  2. Electric power plants
  3. Food industry
  4. Nuclear industry
  5. Organic chemicals manufacturing
  6. Petroleum refining and petrochemicals
  7. Pulp and paper industry
  8. Textile dyeing, washing, printing mills
  9. Industrial oil industry
  10. Edible oil industry
  11. Pharmaceutical
  12. Agro process industry
  13. Fish processing

ETP Design

ETP design depends on water quality, source of effluent, slightly customer choice & budget. ETP design calculation are segment into civil design, mechanical design, chemical & electrical consumption.  Flooring  foundation, tank, drainage, beautification work includes in Civil design and Electro-mechanical machinery, pipe fittings, mechanical mechanism includes in mechanical design.

Why ETP is required?

ETP Plant plays a very important role for treating the industrial wastewater. ETP are mostly used to treat the industrial wastewater to make it reusable water or to safe discharge in to the environment. Now Days it’s mandatory for every industry to Install ETP Plants as per government regulations to treat their waste and wastewater for making it more reusable or for safe discharge into the nature.

ETP Plant requirement are for following reasons-

  1. To make industrial wastewater reusable
  2. To treat industrial wastewater for safe discharge into the nature(like: lake, ponds, sewers, or rivers)
  3. To save natural resources to be polluted
  4. Government Regulations : As per the government rules and regulations its mandatory to have etp plant
